Play with colors. Pallet of warm colors will be inviting and sure to improve the look of your interior. It is not just for walls, you can incorporate warm colors to your floor, fabrics, and accessories. If you prefer just white, make sure to get different shades of white to create interest.

Mix old and new of everything. You can add few old pieces to your furniture, mix and match accessories and place them to create more interest. If you have wooden mantle, try adding new things on it to give a different look. Mixing old and new are not limited to your living spaces, carry it over to other areas of your home.

Add unexpected. It catches the eye of the visitor. You can find many of these at your local flea market. When playing with lighting, hung them at different levels based on where they are located. You can lower the height of the chandelier over the dining table to catch the eye without creating a hazard.
