Aluminium Wires Used for Electric Fences
Written by Farm Supply Store
Most fruits and vegetable growers throughout the world are faced with the issue of losing crops to other animals and predators. Installing electric fences in gardens and orchards have proven to be good solutions as they act as deterrents for these animals to approach the plants. The installation of electric fences does not normally take a long time. However, this would depend on the size of the particular extent of land. The installation for a regular garden can be completed within a single day. When the extent of land is bigger, more help might be needed to complete the installation in a timely manner.
The initial step in the installation of the electric fence would be to measure down the area that needs to be fenced. The measurement would then be used to calculate the amount of stakes and aluminium wires that would be required. A professional in electric fencing would need to be consulted in order to confirm the amount of material required.
The next crucial step in the installation would be digging the metal stakes. These need to be spaced adequately about three to five feet apart. A pile driver or sledgehammer can be used to secure them. Once the stakes are firmly fixed, aluminium wire can then be threaded. After properly threading the wire, the electric connection can then be set up. The electric box would not need to be connected at this point, however. Electricity can be plugged once the wirings are inspected for safety. Jason Governo has acquired extensive hands-on experience in farming fences and other forms of electric fencing using aluminium wires.
