Why selecting a quality made sofa matters?

Is the seller reputable?  Most factory authorized sellers carry samples and selection of fabrics to try.  They do carry factory warranties if there is a problem with the sofa you buy.

Consider the type of frame.  Durability of your furniture depends on the frame.  If it is a wood frame, wood should be kiln-dried hardwood such as oak or maple.  Frame should be double doweled and corners blocked with glue and wood screws.

Consider the type of springs in the sofa.  The eight-way hand-tied springs are considered the best.  This type of springs distributes body weight evenly and prevents failures.

Cushions should be made with multiple layers of high-density polyurethane wrapped in Dacron fiber or down feathers.  Also consider the tailoring to suit your likings.

Look for the warranty of the sofa.  Many manufacturers offer lifetime warranty on the frame, springs and cushions.
